Toogoom Rural Fire Brigade

This is the first NHW Conference to be held in Toogoom. The conference starts at 9:30am on Saturday the 18th of April at the Toogoom Community Hall on the Corner of O'Regans Creek Road and Toogoom Road. Various topics from personal safety, to home security, and fire prevention will be covered by various authorities from around the district.

Toogoom Rural Fire Brigade has been invited to speak at the conference in regards to fire safety. Topics that will be covered are:

• Evacuation Plans
• Smoke Alarms
  
• Fire Extinguishers & Fire Blankets
• Living in an "iZone"
• The "Stay and Defend or Go Early" policy

Literature will be available on the topics on the day and also on this website soon.

We will also be doing a real time structure fire demonstration at the hall also.
